At the Gala
MLP intro, extended
FiW intro, complete with the mating call of the wild Spectrum
Smile Smile Smile
Winter Wrap Up
Cruel and unusual punushment of a Speccy
The last one's not pony, but hopefully demonstrates why I've slowed down a little(!)
I have had some great ideas for some truly epic works, but I don't have enough working hardware to get it to work, and an emulator won't be suitable.

I love these. Over here it would sound like an Intellivision but then again I've only heard of a ZX Spectrum from guys like Guru Larry. Anyway, I love the simplicity of it all. The old-school gamer in me is pleased with these.

Looking at Wikipedia, I see that the Intellivision with ECS had an AY-3-8910 chip on it, which is the same chip that the Spectrum added in its 128k versions. This may explain why they sound similar.

I enjoyed listening to these. ^.^ I never bothered with the ZX Spectrum because it seems like such a complicated system. So, are you using the actual system, or is that a program made to emulate the hardware?

Interesting. I learned something today. Hampshirebrony, I said this before, but I'll say it again: I love your music. I'm looking forward to hearing what you make next.

I'm using BASin to code in, since that allows me to use the PC keyboard with its layout, rather than the Spectrum keyboard layout. BASin also has a built in pseudo emulator - it runs the code, but it's not doing full emulation. I will either record the sound output from this, but this is not clean sound, and if Skype/MSN goes off in the background, that gets recorded too.
My prefered option is to save the code to a tape file, which BASin will do with its builtin tools, and then load that up in zx128k emu, which is an emulator with a built in video recorded and sound recorder.
I have played back the FiW video into a 3.5mm to cassette adapter and loaded it on to a physical Spectrum, and had it happily beep along after the loading section. Usually though, I get hit with a tape loading error, since I'm using an adapter I paid about £1.60 for, including postage.
I might put up a video of me making one of these, though I can't stand hearing my own voice.
Edit:
Teslahead's latest offering. Stuck it up as 120 bpm as a random guess, it's almost 3 am, there's a lot of "I can't be bothered" in this one.
Also, I got bored recording it.

Did this one AGES back, either my 2nd or 3rd one. Saved it for now.

That Spectrum mating call... My God it reminds me of the days when we used dial-up.
