Well...not really. It will have more of a laid back and smoother style, instead of the harsh driving force of the original.

Yep, the scale that that song is based on is
D E F G A Bb C# D
That C# diminshed chord really gives the song that spooky sound we're looking for.

9 7 5 9 X 9 <- i don't have the pinky strength to bar that 9th across on the G and the E....that would give a C# E G E X C#
or this one 9 X 11 X 8 12 giving a C# X C# X G E
