Salutations, everypony! It is my pleasure to finally present to you the entirety of the Equestria Girls: Rainbow Rocks Soundtrack! It is here in Guitar Pro format for your viewing and educational pleasure. This took me a couple months to complete, and I must say that I'm pretty happy with it. Please feel free to leave any feedback that you may have concerning anything that I missed or got wrong, but it sounds pretty good to me. I'm particularly happy with "Tricks Up My Sleeve" and "Welcome To The Show," as those were the two toughest to get right, and I think they're my strongest efforts. I'm also considering making a version of "Welcome To The Show" that includes the full battle sequence after the "Now it's time to finish you" bit, but right now I'm just happy that I'm done with the album. Since I made these with GP5, as I prefer the interface over GP6, keep in mind that if you're using GP6 that the soundbanks will be off, and will require some adjusting on your end. Anyways, enjoy! Let me know what you all think, and who knows? If enough people dig this, perhaps I'll add some more of the pony tunes that I've got in the works. Hey there! Just about a week ago I had decided to see what the ponies had been up to since I last checked almost two years ago. After binge watching seasons 3, 4, and what there is of 5, I discovered Rainbow Rocks. I was drop jawed. I won't fanboy out about how much I liked the movie here, but I MUST learn how to play some of the songs. So, my main question is do you happen to have the bass lines on that file? I've played bass for 20 years, but I've never used guitar pro. Normally, I just look up what the chord changes are and figure the rest out by ear. Generally, that's a pretty easy route if the chords are correctly written.
However, the people Daniel Ingram got to play for the soundtrack are some insane level studio musicians (at least I'm assuming they're studio musicians). The bass line for the Rainbow Rocks theme, my favorite track, is well beyond my ability to figure out by ear. That bassist has a very refined technique, not just tromping up and down the appropriate scale. I'd be willing to drop some money just to have the notes down in front of me.

@ ragingfurball I have actually been working on my own transcription for the Rainbow Rocks theme (just the Rainbow Rocks theme, I don't have the energy to do the whole soundtrack). Props to filmthereputable for making these files. Thank you so much! Raging, below is a link you can use to download the bass tabs to my transcription. I used an equalizer in Audacity to isolate the low frequencies in the song so I could hear the bass guitar loud and clear. drive.google.com/open?id=0B_eoG5cv0kp1RllYT3F6Y2w5WVU&authuser=0Here is also a MIDI file of the bass guitar along with drums, so you can hear the rhythm section together. (Make sure you download it, Google Drive won't play MIDI files) drive.google.com/open?id=0B_eoG5cv0kp1N25RdWItU1JGMk0&authuser=0

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much radar! This is EXACTLY what I need. I'm super glad you added the sheet music as well, since I tend to use slightly alternate fingerings for certain notes. I'm not sure why, buy my main bass just doesn't like doing open strings on the D string; I desperately need to replace the bridge and get it a professional setup. I can't thank you enough for all the work you put into this. I owe you one and hope we can chat over skype or facebook someday.
