A fitting title for a musical episode, huh? Something bronies have been wanting since the beginning, and we're finally getting one with 7, count them, 7 songs! I can tell me and the other admins are going to be up to our foreheads in submissions/covers and the like.
Anyway, the synopsis is that the ponies' cutie marks are switched and chaos ensues. Post reactions here.

7 songs?
Well, they already leaked 3 of 'em. And once all 7 are out, I'm gonna try to find an arranger and make a concert band medley.
Besides that, forget AliTwi/Skyla/NonAliTwi. I just want the music now. XD

I might do sort of a rock opera deal here, with each song a different sub genre (Like the beautiful day one could be punky or kitschy 60s pop)

7 songs! This is going to be a neat episode... Are you kidding me? *sits down with a clarinet* I'm going to learn every melody and walk around the band room playing every single bad boy.

I'll follow behind with my guitar! I can just see all the brony musicians at the starting gate, all waiting to be the first to cover these tracks.

Well, this quote conversation between me and my friends sums up my actual thoughts.
[10:43:40 AM] Dimo: Shipper and Moosick Guy: ...I'm honestly pissed at this episode. [10:43:46 AM] Dimo: Shipper and Moosick Guy: But not why you would think. [10:43:56 AM] Dimo: Shipper and Moosick Guy: One: THEY LIED. 6 SONGS AND A REPRISE IS NOT 7 SONGS. [10:44:52 AM] Dimo: Shipper and Moosick Guy: Two: It just seems like...it came from nowhere. It goes from normal Ponyville to Princess Twilight in 22 minutes. And what's she even princess OF? Is she in Canterlot now? Did she stay in Ponyville? Heck, why didn't we even get a clear introduction without head-diving into YAY ACTION? [10:45:31 AM] Dimo: Shipper and Moosick Guy: I'll give them the benefit of the doubt, and hope S4 answers all my questions besides the last one. [10:45:43 AM] Dimo: Shipper and Moosick Guy: But still, I'm actually disappointed at a pony episode, despite the musical theme. [10:45:53 AM] Dawnchaser: Dawnchaser liked it cause the music [10:46:00 AM] Dimo: Shipper and Moosick Guy: I loved the music too. [10:46:04 AM] Dimo: Shipper and Moosick Guy: But everything else just seemed...wrong. [10:46:05 AM] Dimo: Shipper and Moosick Guy: And rushed. [10:46:07 AM] Dimo: Shipper and Moosick Guy: And shallow. [10:46:12 AM] Dawnchaser: I noticed that too [10:46:24 AM] Dimo: Shipper and Moosick Guy: I mean, they didn't stop to breathe [10:47:00 AM] Dimo: Shipper and Moosick Guy: Literally all that happened was Twi' was an epic super genius and solved problems with no deliberation, rushing around town to fix her mistake in literally 7 minutes, and becoming a princess for a feat honestly less impressive than what she's previously done.
I'm honestly disappoint.

I'm a sucker for music. That's pretty much all it takes to make me happy!

Instead of summing up the fixing of the Cutie Marks in a song, that shoulda been the episode. It was a great song, easily the best of the season, but it just seemed so...empty.

I was rather blown away by the episode. I kept away from all the spoilers - though there was no way not to have heard of Twilicorn - so I was surprised by mostly everything that occurred. The music was really good!
I started out not liking "True, True Friend" but once they started including all of the Mane 6, it was really building up.
Twilight's sad song was awesome! There's a longer version too, said Daniel Ingram, though I don't know when we'll be able to hear it.
I really lost it when Twilight and Celestia were in the Astral Sea. I was really not expecting a Celestia solo and it was so beautiful and well done. I really want to see more of our solar ruler, and perhaps another song by her OR! a duet with her and Luna!
I really liked the episode. I thought for the short season they had to work with and the single episode for the finale, they pulled off everything really well. We tend to forget the people that create the show have restrictions and guidelines they have to follow so it can be difficult to accomplish everything they may want to do. Meghan McCarthy mentioned that this episode is more like the first of a three-parter so I'm expecting to see a lot of questions answered during the next season.

Oh, and am I the only one who doesn't like the idea of AliTwi?

I really want to see more of our solar ruler, and perhaps another song by her OR! a duet with her and Luna! I agree! This was my favorite song from this episode. I found it to be very moving, and it beautifully described all the growth Twilight has gone through. It actually still makes my eyes a bit teary when I watch it!

My favorite song has to be I've Got to Find a Way. I say that because it's the one song that gave me massive feels. I can't watch it without crying like a baby. Twilight's voice is amazing and sad, and the scenes during the song tug at the heart strings (Like Applejack boarding up the boutique or the ponies fighting because of Fluttershy), and the piano-work is exquisite.

Oh, and am I the only one who doesn't like the idea of AliTwi? I wasn't too much of a fan of the idea starting out honestly, but the way they handled it makes sense to me and I was open to the idea after my initial thoughts.

Same here. I was a tiny bit apprehensive, and even then I think the arc so far was a bit rushed, but I liked the "Clip-show dimension" as I call it.
